- There is a brief scene of sexual activity, where bare breasts are shown and there is thrusting and moaning.
- A man asks another man if he wants to "cuddle", they walk outside, and one man begins to undress the other, but he stops.
- There are many references to sexuality and virginity, and there are quite a few sexual references and innuendos.

- A man is beaten up by a gang of hoodlums, and we see him with a black eye, and a bloody nose.

- Several uses of "bastard" and "shit".

- There are many scenes in which adults are drinking and smoking cigarrettes, this does take place in the 60's, where pretty much everbody smoked.

- The scene where a man is beaten up is a little intense. A man contemplates jumping into a river, and he ends up falling in, but he is alright, this scene is pretty much played for laughs.
