Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • Some of the violence is fairly brutal, if not graphic. The torture scene is pretty hard to watch. Plus the ending where they shoot Vinz is graphic.
  • A man is shot in the head at point-blank range by a cop. We see his body right afterwards. Two men point guns at each other, and we hear the guns go off.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The realism is very intense. Towards the end, although the main movie is about police brutality in France, there's also news about the Balkan conflicts during the mid-1990s, which were happening at the time this movie was made and released, and some of the footage is pretty intense, including one general from an enemy army holding a gun to someone from an enemy ethnicity.
