Blair Underwood has launched a production company with actor Tommy Morgan Jr. as his producing partner.
The company, Intrepid Inc., has several projects in development, including a special/backdoor pilot at TLC.
The project, called Easy Money, is a co-production with GRB Entertainment. The two-hour special will chronicle the lives of a group of social services workers in St. Louis, Mo., who became multimillionaires overnight after winning a lottery jackpot.
Underwood and Morgan will executive produce.
Underwood's producing credits include indies "How Did It Feel?" and Asunder. He also is attached to produce and star in My Soul to Keep for Fox Searchlight.
Underwood, recently seen in Madea's Family Reunion and Something New, is recurring on the CBS comedy "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and will co-star in the upcoming HBO drama In Treatment. Morgan's acting credits include Fight for Glory and The Burning Zone.

Justin Kirk is set to reunite with his Angels in America co-star Mary-Louise Parker on Showtime's upcoming comedy series Weeds. Kirk has joined the cast of the Lions Gate-produced Weeds, which stars Parker as a suburban mom who turns to selling pot to make a living after her husband dies unexpectedly. In a regular role, Kirk will play the woman's irresponsible brother-in-law. Also cast in the series is Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who will recur as the dead husband. The cast of Weeds also includes Elizabeth Perkins and Kevin Nealon. Both Kirk and Parker were nominated for Emmys for their performances in Angels in America, with Parker going on to win. Additionally, Kirk won an Obie Award for his role in the Broadway production of Love! Valour! Compassion! Kirk, who next will do Mission: Impossible III, is repped by CAA and Stacy Boniello of the Firm. Morgan (UPN's The Burning Zone) is repped by the Geddes Agency and manager Rob Gomez.
