Sex & Nudity

  • Some course dialogue, and an occasional racy, and some mild sex scene. But never anything more than mild.

Violence & Gore

  • A very intense show, there is a lot of action violence. Some episodes are a little more brutal than others.

Profanity

  • One thing that makes UPN cutting edge as a network, and more popular, is they have harder language on some of their shows. "D*ckhead," a word not allowed on TV, is said in quite a few episodes. "P*ssed" is also said. All unedited. There could be a F-word here and there, perhaps too. Also unedited if that's the case.
  • Some rude-spirited language from Jim to Blair, and sometimes by Simon as well. But it never really gets mean (in the beginning it was a little, but in Jim's defense he's been a through a lot, and is very tense). When push comes to shove Jim and Blair lookout for each other. The rude language gets tame in later seasons.
  • Some crude humor in certain episodes.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Drinks, alcohol, smoking, the usual for TV. Some episodes revolve around drug dealers, but the drug scenes are almost never shown.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • It was a very intense show and memorable. One of the best from a powerhouse network like UPN. One reason UPN stomped The WB in the ratings, all 11 years. Every episode is intense, with some of the episodes being thrillers, and there are some very memorable moments. Some are more severe than others. It would just depend on the episode. UPN was more Warner Bros.ish than The WB on an unrelated note.
