This is the kind of things Mexican movies needs!

De tripas, corazón is a marvelous short-film. It has comedy, drama and suspense. Gael García makes a great performance as the kid who loves the hooker (a very good Elpidia Carrillo) of the town.

Best of all, the excellent supporting cast members, I must say they all rocks. Don't miss this one.

DE TRIPAS CORAZON is one of the best short films that have been produced in the past 10 years in Mexico. It explains all you need to know about growing up in a small town, the step from childhood to adolescence, what you need to do to prove you are a real man! Gael Garcia is discovered as a young and bright talent, maybe one of the best actors in Mexico, a star that is going to shine. It is a tender love story!

such a sincere film

this short film was so sincere and sweet... all the characters were very human and each had their own story to tell... the scenery was rich and the film was visually beautiful... the casting was wonderful, gael garcia bernal fitted the role of innocence beautifully... great movie about growing up... i will not forget this short classic!
