Movie depicting racism in the steel industry and their union.

One of the most compelling movies,i have ever seen.It integrates the stories of a generation or two of black steelworkers, who watched themselves constantly given the the toughest, dirtiest jobs in the industry and their resolve to live lives and eventually gain some fair treatment--which paralleled equal rights struggles for blacks in our land..After some equity was achieved for these men and women, the industry collapsed and manufacturing jobs like theirs were and are now being denied working class people. The movie portraits of strong black men and women experiencing, understanding and persevering holds up spectacularly well in a time when race and class again enslave people in our system.
