Sex & Nudity

  • NUDITY consists of: Full Topless woman breast Nudity at the end of the movie, when the tribe come out on boats.
  • A couple make out. Top of woman's bra seen for about 5 seconds
  • Kissing and sexual innuendo.

Violence & Gore

  • A lot of violence that this PG-13 movie got away with that sadly wouldn't get away with now.
  • Suggested MPAA rating: R due to gory snake violence, bloodshed, and disturbing content.
  • A snake is shot in the head three times with a rifle. Chunks of flesh fly off. Quite graphic and bloody.
  • Very violent and graphic for a PG-13 movie.
  • A monkey is killed. It's bloody arm is shown on a table. A man fills its blood into a bucket and dumps it onto two people. Very bloody scene.
  • The film is all about a giant anaconda snake in the jungle so expect creature violence.
  • The snake kills a panther and leaves the panther's eyeball lying on the ground.
  • A tracheotomy is done on a man using a knife; there's some blood and later a man twists his finger in the tracheotomy hole (some blood gushes out).
  • As the snake eats a victim we see the inside of the snake from the victim's perspective.
  • The snake chews on a corpse's neck (some blood).
  • A man puts a pick through the snake's head (some blood). The snake spits up a dead monkey and a slightly chewed-up man.
  • The snake kills some people by breaking necks and crunching bones; there's some blood (neck, eyes, mouth). The snake drags a victim through the water and there is blood on his face.
  • A monkey paw drips blood into a bucket.
  • A couple of people are strangled.
  • The outline of a man's face is seen through the snake's belly after he's been eaten.
  • A snake bites a man's finger.
  • Animals are shot and injured or killed, and one catches on fire.
  • A man is stabbed in the leg with a knife. A few fistfights and a couple of slaps. A few corpses are seen. A couple of explosions.

Profanity

  • 1 use of "fuck", 11 uses of "shit", 5 uses of "ass" (2 used as "asshole"), 9 uses of "hell", 1 use of "bastard", 1 use of "bitch", 1 use of "sons of bitches", 5 uses of "damn", 4 uses of "goddamned".
  • One F-word, a profane hand gesture, a few anatomical references, some mild obscenities and a few scatological references.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some alcohol is used on a patient, who has a hard time breathing after he has been stung by a deadly wasp.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The main theme of plot is very frightening
  • Creature violence throughout, particularly in the latter half of the film. Some images may be upsetting for younger viewers or anyone with a fear of snakes. However, the film has a very campy approach to its scares and action, making the entire thing more silly than scary.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • After the anaconda regurgitates Serone, he is seen covered in saliva with one of his eyes missing & winks at Terri before falling over dead. Disturbing to say the least.
  • Some intense scenes involving the snake killing and eating people; particularly the scene towards the end, where it kills and eats Sarrone whole and his face is seen from the inside of the snake. The snake spits him out later. This may disturb some viewers.
