Is "The Hunchback" based on a novel?
Yes. It was called Notre-Dame de Paris (sometimes translated as The Hunchback of Notre Dame) (1831) is a French writer Victor Hugo [1802-1855]. It is claimed that Hugo wrote the book as a statement to preserve the Notre Dame catedral and not 'moderize' it. Other adaptations of the novel include
