Lost forever!
Faico29 September 1999
Though norwegian film-industry has always been lagging behind their Scandinavian neighbouring countries, it is as old as film itself and this first fiction-film ever produced in Norway, directed by Hugo Hermansen somewhere between 1906 and 1908 (the year itself is unknown), is unfortunately lost forever.

Lost film, but some has seen a remake
OJT3 July 2022
The earliest known Norwegian fiction film is believed to be lost. It's not been found even after thorough searches. It was made in 1907 or 1908 and shown in cinemas 1910 and 1911, based on newspaper adds. It was directed by Hugo Hermansen.

Some has given votes here, ut they have probabaly seen a reenactment or remake made in 1954. That film was not completely true to all scenes either.
