Bad movie don't bother
destracricetale16 September 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Italian cinema has popped out a lot of B-grade comedy movies during his long history : movies with comedians that just plain silly, movies with fart jokes and childish humor, with a beautiful actress that take a shower and an weird guy that spy her with a lust eye. Some of those movies are surprisingly good and genuinely funny even with a poor budget, others have weak points but at least the actress was always beautiful to watch and the silly, peasant comedians have their moments. Since even a movie star has to pay his bills several A grade stars did those movies alongside with rising actors that would become very famous later. Anni 90 is a a comedy movie composed by several episodes with no ties to each others; famous comedian actors and TV typecast where involved..the result was very bad...not the kind of "bad movie" that was ultimately funny, this one was bad in a hostile way. The gags are so stupid and unfunny that seems to be wrote by someone with Asperger Syndrome, the plots of the episode seems to be wrote an hour before the stage on a napkin. The puns are so atrocious that one of the "comedian" say it then..explain the joke itself a moment later. The only almost decent episode, the final one, starts almost well..then something happened and..nothing more with the most illogical and stupidest final ever. A movie that failed as a comedy in a very unpleasant way, like a crazy hobo in the subway train that try, screaming loudly, to tale a joke then forget it and start to confabulate for find a final and never stops until the last stops of the train- I gave it 1 point, not zero for a reason: the movie never tire the audience because it is so irritating that the poor spectators are continually hurt and have no time for get bother. Like a gnome that punch or scratch you in the neck for the whole span of the movie. if you are Italian and can understand the jokes and the puns, please spare your time with something else, even Alvaro Vitali's Pierino is a masterpiece in comparison. If you are not Italian but you have some familiarity with our cinema, stay away to this monstrosity as leprosy. Sadly they made a sequel.

A piece of junk, with divulging aims
giupnol-115 August 2006
Surely this is only one of the worst movies that the Italian scene has come out with, during the 80s and the 90s. In one of the episodes, a right-minded woman spends one night stand with an Italian Latin lover. He should represent the Latin-lover by the old way, and she is shown as a new kind of Italian woman: exuberant, uninhibited, but yet well-informed and cautious. Before making love, she asks him for a negative test against aids, and informs him *this is great* about a never heard before way of transmission for the disease: by kissing each other. He replies that he feels very fit, so he can't be aids-positive, and even that he despises homosexuals, and above all, he can't feel a "purple border" around his body (at the time this movie came out, there was a spot about aids from the Italian health ministry, that showed h.i.v. positive people marked with a purple border around them; when they spoke with other people, or just met them, a purple border faded in around them, too). The wrong message, along with a very thin plot, and an horrible acting, makes this episode particularly awful, but the rest of the movie can be even more boring.

If you know about this movie, you don't wanna see it. (I'm misquoting the Italian aids spot that you could see in the 90s in the Italian televisions. It went on more or less like this: "AIDS, if you know it, you avoid it. If you know it, it can't kill you".)
