The Best Film in All of Q-Cinema
"Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss" is by far the best film in its genre. Unlike most Q-cinema films that leave you with a bittersweet ending and a sinking feeling in your stomach, this film turns into a very sweet love story with a twist ending that encompasses the qualities of both a hilarious comedy and a touching romance-drama. The film opens with a witty narration by Billy like something you might see in "Jeffrey," but slowly develops into something deeper and more meaningful, and ends with a sweet scene that is very uncommon of this genre. None of the characters are "stereotypical" or "token," and all add something to the story. The film also carries very uplifting messages about finding true love, treasuring friendships, the harm of stereotypes, and how hard it is to really find your niche in this crazy world. So, if you are tired of the same old Q-cinema films that leave you upset, crying, and wondering why you just wasted your time and money, go rent this one. It just might make you feel a little better about yourself.
