Another visit to the alternate universe of Lane and Schilling.
mark.waltz10 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Women who come along out of nowhere and slap complete strangers for looking like someone they hate. Ex-girlfriends who threaten violence if they don't have a wedding in their future. Phony illnesses that are supposed to kill someone over night. Such is the world of a Schilling and Lane two reeler, featuring a jealous wife that the two have to lie about having a card party (that went to two in the morning), and the tempestuous Lynne Lyons whom Schilling lies to about Lane's availability. Schilling at least gets to disguise himself in this, and does a funny foreign accent to boot. Still rather forced and very dated, and evidence to celebrate the fact that the first hit sitcoms were nothing like these.
