As Krazy Kat wanders through the wax museum the figures come alive to complete the scenarios they are part of.
This cartoon, written by Fleischer stalwart Al Eugster, is a mix of celebrity caricatures and blackout gags for the first half. It suggests the Fleischer Screen Songs -- the statue of Mae West sings a few bars of "Frankie and Johnie". What Eugster was doing at Mintz' company is obscure, but the talent in the animation industry moved from one studio to the next, seemingly at random; Eugster would also work for Disney for a period, with credits on SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN Dwarfs.
Krazy is largely incidental to the cartoon, serving as a familiar face to tie the cartoon into a commercial series. Harrison & Gould's unit certainly had fine production values, with elaborate background work Still, this is a decent but unremarkable cartoon for the era.
