Woolery Becoming a Nut Ruins It
quitwastingmytime16 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
He became a notorious anti Semite and vaccine conspiracy nut. Now the show can't be watched without thinking about him hiding his craziness behind that smile.

A treat to watch, and one of the best dating game shows ever
crumbworks10 April 2004
With all the reality television that was brought to us at the turn of the century, it really makes us appreciate simple shows like "Love Connection" that much more. The concept was simple, and it was a gem to watch. TV has evolved into a never-ending grasp for ratings, but when this show was on, people loved it because it was fun to watch and it had an interesting setup, without the need for gimmicks to keep viewers glued to the screen. It was light-hearted, friendly, and possibly one of the most wholesome dating shows to date. If you ever watched this show when it was on the air, you'd realize how rare a breed it is compared to what modern game shows (or reality television) are willing to do for ratings. Simply put, "Love Connection" was such a basic dating game show, but it was a pleasure to watch. I was too young to watch it when it first came out, but I watched it (both in syndication and original airings) often throughout the early to mid 90s. It was great to watch with others and discuss who would pick whom, and it really is a shame that television has evolved so poorly.

could have made it so much better
steelbabe-7513523 June 2017
A much better way to have done this would have been to have a contestant on the chair and 3 choices behind the wall and asked each questions and then let the contestant blindly pick one to go on a date with and then have audience pick and the contestant would have to choose either going on date with his choice or take the $ and risk going on date with whom the audience chose. the way you have it now who in their right mind would pass up the $$ to go for the overnight date with the person they clicked with over the person they can get $$ to go with?

Fun game show
Catherine_Grace_Zeh19 July 2006
I used to watch this show when I was growing up. I still watch it from time to time in reruns. First off, I must say that it was a fun game show. Also, I don't think I've seen every episode. However, if you ask me, it was still a good show. I remember the theme song pretty well, too. Even so, it was fun to play along and watch. I hope the Game Show Network keeps it on the air for years to come. If that happens, I will be really happy. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that I'll always remember this show in my memory forever once it stops airing for good, even though I haven't seen every episode. Now, in conclusion, I hope that you catch it one day before it goes off the air for good.

Best dating show
LukeCoolHand17 June 2022
This was a great show. Chuck Woolery was a great host who you could tell was really involved and interested in all the guests. It lasted for 11 years with Woolery. I really wish he had stayed on Wheel of Fortune. That show lost something when Sajak took over. My Mother stopped watching Wheel when Woolery left. Later they tried to re-vive Love Connection with other hosts and it did not work. The most enjoyable dates were when the date failed. It was very funny but all contestants took the putdowns with style and grace.

Be Back in Two and Two
shelbythuylinh26 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
How Chuck Woolery after Wheel of Fortune leaving found success hosting the dating game show like and how the audience was to find the three men or women that the date might like.

It is a match the show would pay for the first date but then they would come back. To say if it is a hit or a miss with most being the latter there. It was a rare breed there for the audience at the time to get involved.
