In this film German shows his serious side in the middle of the film near the end,when he tells Joachim Pardave,that the girl he's seeing is German daughter and he,German, was never Joachim son.The girl actress who plays his daughter is never mention in the film.This doesn't make any sense.In This film German plays a struggling news paper seller,in the streets. An Opportunist,played by Tito Navarro,sees him exactly like the lost son of a wealthy and modern Mexican Arab,played by Joachim Pardave ,and his violent but funny wife,played by Sara Garcia.Roque,played by Tito,is the boy friend of Raifel Caim's,played by Joachim,daughter Elena,played by Martha Valdez,Wife? Sister?or Daughter? or some relative of German?You see Roque wants to milk money from the wealthy Caim,through being Married to His daughter ,through Caims Alleged lost son played by Valdez,by introducing German to Caim,as being his lost son.The problem is that when his mean acting wife Fatima,played by Sara,demanding who the hell German is,Joachim is force to lie and claim that German is an Indian,of India,guru.So this puts pressure on German to fast,in which he goes to the kitchen very late at night to eat,behind every ones back.German fall for Elena too.There's a big musical number in the back yard of the Joachim place with a big swimming pool,filled with the studio chorus girls that show up out of no where German perform 1920 style jazz song,in which he's dress up in an 1890's bathing suit ,where there are more chorus girl in the same period bathing suits in the back drop,competing with them are the 1955 bathing suits chorus girls coming out of the pool dancing to a rumba version of the same song.One funny sequence,in which Elena tell Tan that she's going to play polo and expects him play there and he get confused with skiing dress up in winter coats skis and a fury dog,which all come out of know where.Sara is angry when she find out German is her Alleged son and does not like it.But when German and Elena kiss each other and Sara catches them she accuses German of incest,both Caim and German leaves the house and move in with German,until his wife wants Joachim at the wedding between Elena and Roque.German save the day by using his own little daughter to stop the wedding.It all ends happy.This one is also available at amazon.com too.06/14/13
