Dorothy Grant ( Vivian Martin ) returns home after graduation, determined to contribute to the war effort. Her father owns a munitions factory, and because the suspicion that spies are operating in the country is a great concern, has hung a sign warning " Eyes to Spies." Dorothy suspects the family butler, William ( Louis Willoughby ) is an enemy spy, but the real spies are Lena, ( Lillian Leighton ) the cook and Henry ( Jim Farley ) the Chauffeur. They want to blow up the factory and are aware of the fact that Dorothy knows the password. Taking the girl prisoner, she refuses to reveal the password, even under the threat of being killed. Meanwhile, William the butler is really an American secret agent, he saves the factory and Dorothy is declared a heroine. Her courageous behaviour induces Craig, ( J. Parks Jones ) her boyfriend, to enlist.
