Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • In one episode, without intention to be so, Jeff asks a computer named T.X.L. (who has a female voice) how to "turn you on;" and comments on how "I have never done this before." Might be a bit dirty for older viewers.
  • "A Date for Sam," has Sam going on a date with an old friend of his from high school. Muffy teases him with a "kissing up in a tree" song. The friend is played by a real-life eldery woman, who sits at a table with the puppet Sam. No flirting.

Violence & Gore

  • A nervous and concerned Jeff asks in one episode, "Today's Special is guns?!?" Even though it's not, as Jodie reassured Jeff, this might cause worrying for some younger children.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • One episode shows how a butterfly friend of Muffy's named Hazel dies; a distraught Muffy thinks Hazel is just sick. Might be intense for younger viewers.
