Following the Agatha All Along reveal, Marvel Studios announced the premiere dates for both Daredevil: Born Again and Ironheart during tonight's Disney Upfronts presentation.
Born Again, which will serve as a relaunch of the cancelled Daredevil Netflix series, is set to hit the streaming service in March of next year. Star Charlie Cox confirmed that the season will run for nine episodes.
Ironheart is also set to premiere in 2025, but an exact date was not revealed.
Marvel screened the first trailers for both shows for those in attendance, but they haven't been released online (and likely won't be for a while). However, we do have updated logos, which you can check out below along with an interview clip (via Deadline).

There exists in abundance, several pieces of fictional works set in fantasy lands and places, consisting of unrealistic characters with unimaginable powers and abilities. Of these, George R. R. Martin’s Game of Thrones and J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings are considered among the best and have now become a staple part of popular culture.
A still from Game of Thrones
Both set up in unbelievable fantasy worlds with some of the most extraordinary characters, and the two lores could not have been more different. While one can find certain similarities between the two, even the authors differ in their approach. And George R. R. Martin particularly has a problem with how J. R. R. Tolkien dealt with one fan-favorite The Lord of The Rings character.

The comic book community was almost astonished when Ryan Reynolds first disclosed on social media that Hugh Jackman would be playing Wolverine in Shawn Levy’s Deadpool 3. Though it was thought unlikely following Logan’s conclusion, there was discussion about Jackman possibly reprising his iconic role as Wolverine. It was not a huge deal either if he would not have returned, because that movie’s ending exceeded all expectations.

Deadpool & Wolverine is one of the most anticipated movies, if not the most, of 2024. The reason is fairly simple, the previous installments of the franchise created a huge fanbase, and this time, they brought back Wolverine alongside several other characters.

Jason Statham is game for just about anything and everything in his movies. Clamping jumper cables to his nipples and tongue? Sounds like a hoot! Pretending to stab a giant prehistoric shark in the eye? Just tell him where to aim. Delivering the line, "I'm a Beekeeper. I protect the hive. Sometimes I use fire to smoke out hornets" with utter conviction? Hurry up and give him an Oscar already.
Rarely one to turn his nose up at a chance to earn a paycheck, Statham has been noticeably reticent to sign up for a Marvel or DC comic book movie. Even in the middle of the superhero gold rush of the last 20 years, The Stath stuck to playing rugged mavericks with a carefully maintained layer of scruff on their mugs in macho actioners by the likes of Guy Ritchie and Sylvester Stallone. Actor Charlie Cox is popularly known for portraying Matt Murdock a.k.a., Daredevil in the series Daredevil for Netflix. Inspired by 1970s movies, the series was intended to be darker than other Marvel projects, intentionally avoiding any MCU crossovers. It was the first Marvel Netflix series and was followed by Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, which eventually led to the mini-series The Defenders.
Upon its release, the series received positive comments from the critics as well as the audience, with Charlie Cox’s character becoming one of the fan favorite MCU characters. In 2022, after Disney regained the license for the Marvel series, Daredevil Netflix was canceled to make way for a Disney+ show. Cox will reprise his role for Daredevil: Born Again scheduled for a 2025 release, but recent reports suggest that he could appear in Spider-Man 4 in a significant role.

Also, the show is expected to be darker and grittier. As the show’s episodes are being filmed, reports indicate that the new show may witness the saddest MCU death in recent times. It could be very hard for the MCU fans.

Charlie Cox’s Daredevil: Born Again promises to be a worthy addition to the Daredevil narrative that was told over 3 seasons in his own series back at Netflix at the time. With Disney acquiring all the Netflix Marvel characters, the future looks bright for these characters and their integration into the MCU can bring up various exciting possibilities.

Stats like download numbers, likes, reshares, and followers are important, but excessive focus on them can lead to distraction, frustration, and burnout.
Today, podcaster and creative coach Mark Steadman challenges creators to go 90 days without counting their downloads and to raise funds for charity in the process.

Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler has opened up about his battle with depression in a new interview.
Speaking on NPR’s Bullseye With Jesse Thorn, Butler recalled his first time experiencing depression during the early days of Black Sabbath. From then on, it would recur throughout his life, leading him to seek medical advise — though depression was often stigmatized back then, and Butler’s condition went undiagnosed for years.
“I wasn’t depressed all the time,” the bassist said. “Just the occasional bout would come on me. At first, when it was getting really bad… Back then nobody ever said anything about depression or anything like that, and people were terrified to mention that you might be depressed because you automatically thought you were gonna be taken away to a mental hospital and be locked away forever. So you couldn’t talk about it to people in case that happened.

The original (and to date only) big screen Daredevil movie turned 20 years old last week. There wasn’t exactly a deluge of fanfare over this fact. For obvious reasons. Released during the boom years for glossy, hyper-edited action movies that had one eye on MTV tie-ins and another on the post-theatrical DVD double-dip market, director Mark Steven Johnson and star Ben Affleck’s Daredevil arrived into cinemas on Valentine’s Day weekend 2003 as a chopped-to-the-bone, 103-minute collection of studio priorities under 20th Century Fox’s then-chairman, Tom Rothman.
To give you an idea of how different a time this was for the industry, not until the 11th hour of pre-production was Johnson, a lifelong fan of Daredevil comics (specifically Frank Miller’s run in the 1980s), even allowed to give Matt Murdock a red-horned costume. Long before Charlie Cox became the Daredevil we all know and love with his excellent Netflix show (soon to be sort of revived as a Disney+ "Daredevil" series), Ben Affleck had a go at it. After "X-Men" in 2000 and Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man" in 2002, studios were keen to repeat their success and began churning out more and more cape-based fare that would ultimately lead to the deluge of superhero media we're currently enduring. But in the lead-up to the Marvel Cinematic Universe's dominance, there were a fair few missteps, 20th Century Fox's "Daredevil" being one of them.
Written and directed by Mark Steven Johnson, 2003's "Daredevil" didn't quite the heights of "X-Men" or "Spider-Man." Affleck admitted that he regrets the movie and it's generally seen as somewhat of a blunder. Prior to helming the film, Johnson had penned the frankly bizarre "Jack Frost," which saw former "Batman" star Michael Keaton...

20 years ago, comic book movies were in an odd place. "X-Men" helped open the floodgates in 2000, particularly for Marvel, but it was the absolutely astonishing success of 2002's "Spider-Man" that represented the point of no return. Thus, other superheroes quickly made their way to the silver screen in the years that followed, with mixed results. One fascinating example is 2003's "Daredevil," which starred Ben Affleck as the Man Without Fear, and his future wife (and eventual ex-wife) Jennifer Garner as Elektra. The movie wasn't quite a flop, though not quite a hit, and didn't start a franchise for Matt Murdock like Marvel's mutants and Peter Parker now had. It was an up-the-middle, modest misfire.

2003’s Daredevil came out at a time when superhero movies were beginning to take their modern form. 2000’s X-Men and 2002’s Spider-Man were major box office successes, spawning franchises and, in a way, laying the groundwork for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But they weren’t all destined to be hits, as was the case with Daredevil. Now, 20 years after its release, director Mark Steven Johnson has some thoughts on why it didn’t work.
In a new interview with Yahoo! Entertainment to mark the occasion, Johnson said his Daredevil movie was just too cluttered. “Looking back on it, one of the mistakes I made with the film was wanting to put everything in! I wanted to do Daredevil’s origin story, and I wanted to do the Elektra Saga and I wanted to introduce Bullseye and Foggy. I wanted everything to be in there, but the film could only support so much.

I wanted to do Daredevil’s origin story, and I wanted to do the Elektra Saga and I wanted to introduce Bullseye and Foggy. I wanted everything to be in there, but the film could only support so much.

As of Valentine’s Day 2023, Ben Affleck’s often-mocked comic book movie “Daredevil” is 20 years old. Yahoo Entertainment marked the occasion by sitting down with the 2003 comic book movie’s director, Mark Steven Johnson, who admitted that part of the movie’s failure came from his decision to over-cram the story.
“Looking back on it, one of the mistakes I made with the film was wanting to put everything in!” Johnson said. “I wanted to do Daredevil’s origin story, and I wanted to do the Elektra Saga and I wanted to introduce Bullseye and Foggy. I wanted everything to be in there, but the film could only support so much. And then when you’re told to cut a half-hour out and and make it more of a love story, things start to feel rushed and not quite right. It’s a fan thing: when you love something so much,...

The gag about Bullseye is always the speedboat. How many contestants in the ITV darts-based game show that originally ran from 1981 – 1995, had room in their life or garage for occasional Star Prize, the speedboat? (Bullseye presenter Jim Bowen’s 2012 joke to The Mirror that “the only contestants who ever won them lived in top floor flats in Coventry” was taken literally by The Coventry Telegraph who in 2021 launched a local winners search that is presumably ongoing.)
The Bullseye speedboat was its prize anomaly, a symbol of glamour and excitement in a sea of hostess trolleys, sheepskin coats and stainless steel cutlery. After the winning team of two had built their cash fund by answering trivia questions from dart-selected categories, they faced Bully’s Prize Board. There, they threw nine darts in an attempt to win eight prizes plus the bullseye special. Having done that, they had the option to gamble...

Colin Farrell has the Brad Pitt curse; he has the talent of a character actor but he's too hot to be anything but a leading man. As such, Hollywood didn't quite know what to do with him during his breakout in the 2000s.
I'd point to two directors who best understand how to use Farrell. First, there's the man who discovered him: Joel Schumacher. In their second collaboration, "Phone Booth," Farrell played Stu Shepard, a sleazy PR operative who has to confront his sins. Some early proof he was more than just a pretty boy.
Then there's Martin McDonagh, director of "In Bruges" which is, for my money, still Farrell's best movie. When I watched Farrell play Ray, a fledgling hitman hiding out in Belgium after a job gone wrong, I realized what a great, and hilarious, actor he can be. The resulting story is the funniest movie ever made...

Marvel Studios new live-action TV series "Echo", spinning off from the "Hawkeye" series, following hearing impaired super-powered native American 'Maya Lopez' (Alaqua Cox), has wrapped production on Season One:
"...with a hand-print across her face, 'Maya Lopez' is an Olympic-level athlete possessing 'photographic reflexes', defined as the uncanny ability to perfectly copy other people's movements.
“Just by watching other people, she has become a concert-level pianist, a martial artist, a highly skilled acrobat and gifted ballerina.
"She also gained the acrobatic abilities of 'Daredevil' and the uncanny aim of 'Bullseye'. But her deafness is a drawback as she relies on visual cues that render her helpless in the dark, and her ability to communicate by reading lips prevents her from taking commands and communicating with people who are wearing masks or are not in direct visual contact.

Brian Cox has taken home the award for best actor in a drama television series at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards.
During the 77th annual awards show on Sunday evening, Cox was nominated alongside Kit Harington (Game of Thrones), Rami Malek (Mr. Robot), Tobias Menzies (The Crown) and Billy Porter (Pose). This was the first Golden Globe nomination for Harington, the second for Cox, Menzies and Porter, and the fourth for Malek.
“I’m sorry — I mean, this kind of event does your head in. No, it really does. It does your head in,” said Cox, who dedicated the award to showrunner Jesse Armstrong.

Despite their split with Sony causing a lot of fans to panic, Disney has now made up with their rivals and together, the two studios are moving forward with Spider-Man 3. Set to take place in the McU thanks to the renewed deal, and already locked in for a release in July of 2021, development has already begun and though it’s still early, early days for the project, it seems that the pieces are beginning to fall into place.
A few months back, we told you that Kraven and Scorpion would be the main villains, which makes a lot of sense given what we know so far about the movie and where Marvel is heading with the franchise (see: Sinister Six), but now we’ve heard that they won’t be the only ones. The cancellation of Daredevil hit fans particularly hard. Anyone with half a brain could see Iron Fist wasn’t going anywhere, and while the loss of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones was painful, those shows were somewhat variable in quality. But Daredevil? It was a critical darling, had just released a red-hot third season and the cast and crew appeared positive about their future plans. But, inevitably, the axe fell and it seemed that Charlie Cox’s time in the role was over.
Since then, however, we’ve heard continuous rumors from our sources – the same ones who told us a She-Hulk show was coming to Disney Plus back in April – that Marvel Studios liked Cox in the part so much that they want to bring him back into the McU (which was also corroborated by trusted insider Daniel Rpk). His potential future appearances have ranged from him cameoing in the aforementioned She-Hulk,...

Every Marvel fan is hoping Netflix’s Daredevil is revived in some way following its shocking cancellation. We know that the studio can’t work with the character again for a while, but hopes are high that in a few years from now they’ll bring Charlie Cox back as the Man Without Fear. Given that time restraint, nothing has been officially announced as yet, but We Got This Covered has previously reported that what the studio is considering would make fans extremely happy.
According to our sources – the same ones who revealed that Cox is very likely to return to the role, which trusted insider Daniel Rpk later corroborated – Marvel is thinking of both reviving the TV show for at least one more season and developing a movie for the Hornhead. This would likely be set after season 4 and from what we understand, Cox would be joined by three...

It’s been a tough year for Daredevil fans. Despite ceaseless campaigns to get it renewed following Netflix’s decision to cancel it, the Marvel series remains in limbo. Nevertheless, hopes are high that the studio will relaunch it in some form given a bit of time. We Got This Covered has previously reported that season 4 is on the cards, though at this stage, it’s unclear where exactly it would end up. We do know, however, that one key character would be coming back.
According to our sources – the same ones who told us that Charlie Cox is “as good as confirmed” to be returning as the Man Without Fear, which the always reliable insider Daniel Rpk corroborated – whenever, and however Daredevil returns, Bullseye will definitely be involved. This follows on from our report last month in which we revealed that the main cast of the Netflix show are expected to be invited back.

Exclusive: Paramount Pictures is in negotiations to acquire feature pitch Bullseye from screenwriter Chris Boal in a competitive situation with multiple bidders. The original idea is from La La Land producer Jordan Horowitz who will produce via his banner Original Headquarters.
The pitch is a sort of throwback to paranoid thrillers of the 1970s like Parallax View and All the President’s Men, but this one is set in the present with contemporary issues that come from social media and the dark underbelly of the online community.
We understand that Alex Jackson will oversee the development of the project for Paramount Pictures.
Boal is an award-winning playwright who just finished writing the Chris Paciello story for New Line Cinema with Chuck Roven’s Atlas producing. Previously he wrote Vanguard with Alexsander Skaarsgard to star for Warner Bros.

Now that Luke Cage and Marvel’s Iron Fist are no more, Netflix subscribers are beginning to fret over the future – or lack thereof – of Daredevil.
Up until now, the Powers That Be have been strangely quiet about Matt Murdock’s immediate future on the streaming service. We know series showrunner Erik Oleson has already pitched his vision for Daredevil season 4 though, which presumably revolves around the Man Without Fear and his quest to take down a fully-costumed Bullseye.
It certainly makes sense, too, as FBI agent Ben Poindexter was arguably one of the stronger components of Daredevil season 3, even forging an unlikely alliance with Wilson Fisk once the Kingpin’s web of corruption began to consume Hell’s Kitchen. So what gives? Why hasn’t Netflix issued the green light on a fourth season?
It’s impossible to know for sure, but fans can at least take solace in...

It’s been a dark time for fans of Marvel’s Netflix series of late. In a move that would make Thanos proud of the company’s execs, the number of McU shows on the streaming service has been almost halved with the cancellation of both Iron Fist and Luke Cage. Since then, fans have been worried that the ax will fall on the rest of the series: The Punisher, Jessica Jones and, of course, Daredevil.
Season 3 of Matt Murdock’s show proved to be a critical smash and an instant fan favorite, but from what we understand, it didn’t peak the interest of Netflix users in the way the streaming service was no doubt hoping. As such, folks are now worried it may not be renewed, but it seems there’s no reason to fear, as showrunner Erik Oleson has already pitched his vision for the next run...

(Warning: This story contains Major spoilers for the third season of “Marvel’s Daredevil)
Marvel finally added one of Daredevil’s greatest enemies in the third season of the Netflix drama… sort of.
The name “Bullseye” is never mentioned during the season and he never wears his notorious comics costume (a blue and white-striped bodysuit with a literal bulls-eye target on his forehead). The closest thing we get is a flashback scene to Bullseye as a little kid playing Little League baseball, wearing a hat with the bulls-eye on its front.
But the season gives viewers something that has never been provided before — a canonical origin story for Bullseye, played here by Wilson Bethel. That decision, showrunner Erik Oleson tells TheWrap, was essential in making the supervillain fit into the show without being a distraction.

Wilson Bethel is Benjamin Poindexter in Daredevil Season 3 on Netflix. But Marvel fans know him as Bullseye.

Fans have been waiting for Bullseye to appear on Marvel's Daredevil Netflix series since the first season. What's next for Matt Murdock, Bullseye, and Kingpin after that Daredevil season 3 ending? We break it all down.
This article consists of nothing but Daredevil season 3 spoilers. We have a spoiler free review here if you prefer.
Daredevil season 3 might just be the best Marvel Netflix season yet. A spectacular return to the more grounded, crime show flavor of the first season, the return of the best villain Marvel has put on screen, the introduction of a new physical threat, and the best action sequences the show has ever produced, it's a real joy. It also, remarkably for any of these shows, maintained its momentum all the way through all 13 episodes. But it's the Daredevil season 3 ending that perhaps leaves the most to unpack.
Showrunner Erik Oleson has been quite open about the fact that "fear" was the key to this story, and it's also key to understanding the Daredevil season 3 ending.

Showrunner Erik Oleson has been quite open about the fact that "fear" was the key to this story, and it's also key to understanding the Daredevil season 3 ending.

(Spoilers for the ending of Marvel’s “Daredevil” season 3 on Netflix)
As is often the case with these Marvel TV seasons on Netflix, the very last scene is teasing some big future development. And in the case of “Daredevil” season 3, that final scene goes to Benjamin Poindexter (Wilson Bethel), aka Bullseye, who is having spinal surgery after Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) slammed him into the corner of a wall in the climactic fight scene of the season finale.
This scene is actually Poindexter actually becoming Bullseye. I’ll explain in a moment. Here’s the dialogue between the surgeons who are performing the procedure.

“I once believed that justice could be found in a court of law, and in the light of day. But I was fooling myself. Darkness only responds to darkness.”
That’s Matt Murdock there, verbalizing his thoughts on justice, Hell’s Kitchen and the letter of the law while housed up in a confessional booth in the recent teaser for season 3 of Daredevil. So far, so familiar, but what made this Daredevil snippet so special is the fact that it heralded the return of Charlie Cox’s Man Without Fear.
He’s been completely Mia since The Defenders finale, but it shouldn’t be much longer before the one true protector of Hell’s Kitchen is back on the streets, fighting for what he believes in, and when he returns, expect things to get pretty dark. Or at least, that’s the sense we’re getting from a new Tweet...
