Sex & Nudity

  • Sexual themes are very strong at the commercial parody sequences.

Violence & Gore

  • Violence doesn't appear at the beginning and middle of the film. Though as the film becomes darker, gunshots and bullets do occur and cause killings. Some blood can also be seen during the shootings.

Profanity

  • The "N" word (Nigger) is constantly used. "Fuck" can also be heard in the film since it's "R-rated". The film itself focuses on racism, and does have a number of ethnic slurs.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • There is drinking in the film because of depression.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The film itself shows a message of racism. Minstrel show sequences may also offend and shock some viewers because of the stereotypes portrayed in the film.
  • The film grows darker and scarier toward the end.
  • A montage of all the "blackface" films may disturb, offend and sadden viewers.

  • There's also a scene of sadistic pleasure when a group of people in masks shoot at an actor's feet just to make him dance. They kill him anyway at the end.
