If There Was a Star, I didn't See It !!

This kind of familiar melodramatic films weren't very usual at the end of the eighties in México, so there wasn't either an infantile star to bear the stellar of any movie,Pedrito Fernandez became already in Pedro Fernandez was years before specialist in this kind of films, this time he was very old to be protagonist and very young to be dad of any child, so he had to be the older brother, who struggle for the welfare of his orphan little siblings, and try to convince to their rich paternal grandfather(David Reynoso) to take care of them and this one hate them, obviously, for being plebeian.

With this premise, repeated many times in soap operas, we don't expect so much of the film, supported in the very questionable wit of the children headed for the little Anahi, for those years star of the infantile show Chiquilladas,Vejar didn't get at least any comic or emotive moment in all the film not even at the end of it, when the redeemed grandfather appeared customized as a Santa Claus in Christmas day with a bag full of presents for the children, someone as an audience would desire that bag contain a better ending for this flat movie.
