Ayesha Jhulka and Mehul Kumar had several problems with each other thru out the making of the film. Ayesha stated that Mehul spread a rumor about her affair with Prosenjit for the films publicity. Ayesha and Mehul had a massive showdown over a scene. Mehul wanted Ayesha to remove her dupatta,but Ayesha refused saying her kameez was ill fitted and it would long vulgar if she removed it. The costume was designed by Mehul's daughter Shameem who is not a dress designer. Mehul began to scream at her in front of the film unit. He kept demanding she remove her dupatta for the scene.

Mehul Kumar wanted Feroz Khan for the film. But Feroz was not interested. Feroz did not want to work for a outside producer. Feroz declined the film. It was only when Shakti Kapoor insisted Feroz meet Mehul Kumar and do the film that Feroz agreed. Feroz reasoned Mehul Kumar's last film Marte Dam Tak did good business and it would be harmless to accept the film.
