Erik Larsen has announced that he is ending his run on Supreme. The Savage Dragon creator will step down as writer and artist on the creator-owned title after issue #68, according to one of his recent Twitter posts. "After much thought I've decided to end my run on Supreme with issue #68 and make it an 80-page giant. I can do more cool s**t that way," he wrote. Erik Larsen is to revive Supreme for Image Comics. Created by Rob Liefeld, the character later passed into the hands of legendary writer Alan Moore. I remember how excited I was when the first Image Comics hit the stores in the early nineties. There were rumours flying about recklessly of movie adaptations and TV shows in the works and I could not wait to see my brand new favourites immortalised on screen! Alas, it all fell apart when the Speculator’s Boom busted.
But now, after the huge success of AMC’s TV version of Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead, I have seen a window of opportunity where my teen-hood fantasies can finally come true. So here are the classic Image Comics titles that I think should be the next super TV series (All of you big movie studios types need to take note!).

I know that most of you would shout out names like Spawn or Invincible for this opening spot, but no series needs a second chance to prove how amazing...

Disney's acquisition of Marvel Entertainment turns 1 day old today, and the Twitter Report feed has jubilant humor from Rick Remender and Brian Michael Bendis, celebratory fact-sharing from C.B. Cebulski and a dash of skepticism from Image Comics co-founder Erik Larsen, who wonders if Marvel artists will still be allowed to sketch their heroes at conventions.
