Mark Harris : Is that true?
Dr. Elizabeth Merrill : Absolutely.
Mark Harris : Then why bother to learn at all?

Mark Harris : I do not know. I do not know what you hear.

Dr. Miller Simon : Me. Oh, and Sid, be sour, but not too sour. Blunt, but not too blunt. And if they want anything, don't make any commitments without asking Dr. Merrill first.
Sid : She'll know it's not you.

Dr. Miller Simon : Well lets get back to the business at hand. What in Hades are we dealing with?
Dr. Elizabeth Merrill : Ectoplasm. I don't know, ghost beings. Something that's there, that isn't there.
Dr. Miller Simon : At least we can't see them.
Dr. Elizabeth Merrill : Can you still see them, Mark?
Mark Harris : Yes.
Dr. Elizabeth Merrill : Then we know that they are there. And that the unique structure of Mark's eyes permits him to see them.
Dr. Miller Simon : Maybe Mark's eyes have other capacities that we never even suspected?
