Uninspired ..... nowhere close to his best .....

Warning: Spoilers
The 6 minute blast on his first Letterman experience was the best thing Kinison ever did.

But The Sam Kinison Family Entertainment Hour mostly contains uninspired comedy. It starts off with Lloyd Crestview ensuring aggrieved audiences that Sam Kinison will confirm to family entertainment values and refrain from bashing women and minorities :).

Then Sam arrives on stage with two beautiful scantily clad women and proceeds to sing a rock n roll song. After this, he is at his confrontational best tearing into crappy rap singers. He urges serial killers to kill rap singers. Ice-T was in the audience.

Then the show descends into mediocrity with him criticizing popular television and engaging the audiences. This part was really quite average and unfunny.

But the audience seemed to love it all.

Part of the greats

Sam Kinison was a great comic genius. Not because he was terrific or odd, but because he was like Andrew Dice Clay with a political touch. And, he is very funny, and this special proves it if you don't believe me. Kinison not only brings to the stage talk about Jesus, Sweatin to the Oldies, Bad TV and Women, he also has a band. If this isn't a laugh out loud special, nothing is. So just remember what Kinison says- AHHHAHHHHAHHHH! A+
