I saw this in theater over a decade ago, and have been seeking more than YouTube clips. Two existing reviews gave "ok" ratings because they see it as one long tap recital, no music, no dialog. It is all that. Part of what makes it more than that is the ingenuity of some of the tap routines, worthy of special effects level (also mentioned by one reviewer). The other part is the "plot" such as it is. The show progresses in front of your eyes from a few guys on a sidewalk looking for work to them (and others) being on a construction site and assembling - while dancing - a two story structure (frame) including stairway, elevator, connecting beams, etc. It's the coordination and assembly aspects that elevate it beyond a mere recital.
