A stunning tribute, entertaining and memorable!
ritalee29 December 2000
Mariah and others are at their "divalicious" best in the most recent of the VH1 'Divas' concert series! It's a thrill ride from start to finish with awesome performances by the divas. Mariah was in fine form as usual, delivering a intense heart-stopping performance each time she came on stage. Destiny's Child lived up to their hype cementing their places in divadom. Diana showed us why she was the show's honoree and Donna retained her near-legend status. The most memorable part for me was seeing Diana and Mariah take the stage together to sing a few Supremes favorites...it was absolutely delightful! Divas 2000 continued the tradition of excellence we've come to expect from VH1's Divas productions. You'll never tire of watching the Divas perform, and for such a worthy cause this is one must-own video.

Diana Ross Diva Supreme!
res07lla30 September 2002
This performance more than probably anything else shows why Diana Ross is reigning Diva of all. Her performance is stunning along with guests who pay tribute. The duets with Mariah Carey are stunning because it shows from whence it came and where it is going. Don't miss this one! Five stars for this one a perfect 10!

I Remember Diana Ross.

I saw this live in April,2000 on VH1.I loved it.I was so glad to see her get this tribute. The only thing that marred it was the Non Supremes.Without Mary Wilson, and Cindy Birdsong, there was no way this could be called a reunion. The lack of ticket sales is proof.Since Florence Ballard was dead Supremes fans could understand her absence. But this was Diana's big night.I never heard of Destiny's Child, but they sang "Upside Down" very well. They even loved the song.Pure Rock and Roll.I was pleasantly surprised to see Hillary Swank host the show just after winning her 1st Oscar.Faith Hill tried, but couldn't sing "Love Child" the way Diana Ross did with The Supremes. When the Diva appeared she really put on a really great show. She mixed Supremes songs with her solo songs.I can't remember which song Donna Summer sang. When she sang 'Baby Love' and "Stop in The Name of Love" with Mariah Cary, we had an All Star cast.If my memory is right Angela Bassett did some interviews with some people in the audience.I would give this a 10,but The Supremes thing took something away.I remember when "Where Did Our Love Go"became their first of five consecutive songs to go NO1.She was only 20 years old.Where did the time go?Love you,Diane!

Stoned Love!
lakesideview9 April 2006
As a MASSIVE Supremes fan I was thrilled to see Diana Ross and The Supremes evolve in the form of Diana/Lynda Laurence/Scherrie Payne. Three Supremely delicious diva's who authentically deserve the name! Right On! I know some people would have liked to see the original line-up but that's not possible as Florence is dead. So Diana chose to team up with two of the remaining 6 ladies who each made their own unique contribution to The Supremes. Both Lynda and Scherrie have fantastic strong and soulful voices. They're still sexy too - and certainly held their own alongside Ms. Ross. They should have struck out the negativity that was raised by Mary Wilson. Their grouping certainly proved that they are and will always remain Supreme and continue to tour extensively as the Former Ladies Of The Supremes with member Freddi Poole. Check out their website!
