Veteran South Indian actress Poornima Jayaram is going to face the camera once again after a long gap of 26 years. However, this time it is not a film but an advertisement.
The actress has been signed along with her husband K. Bhagyaraj, by a major south Indian cooking oil brand. Her husband is a Tamil actor, director and writer, who has also done a few Malayalam and Telugu movies.
The actress had done her first Malayalam movie Cheriyachante Kroora Krithyangal in 1979. She was last in Mollywood in the movie Onnanu Nammal in 1984. Poornima took a break from acting after tying the knot with Bhagyaraj in 1984.
Now, she is facing the camera after so many years and that too with her husband. It will be a television advertisement in which the star couple will make their appearance. They avoided advertisements for so many years to not come in front of camera.
