17 minutes of boredom Warning: Spoilers
"Yggdrasill: Whose Roots Are Stars in the Human Mind" is not only a really pretentious title, it is also a Stan Brakhage movie from almost 20 years ago. Well.. what can I say about this. It is the usual, I guess. If you like Brakhage's style, then you can check it out, but I personally fail to see it as artistically relevant and I just cannot access his idea of quality movie-making. If his works run for over 5 minutes, it becomes especially annoying and this one is another example. The effects are just not enough to carry this film. His works are only for a very specific group of people and I must say I found his approach repetitive, especially looking at how much quantity is included in his body of work. I don't recommend this one here.
