FromSoftware’s Soulsborne games are considered to be the greatest action-adventure games ever made. Both works of Hidetaka Miyazaki display the creator’s uniqueness and creativity to its full potential.
Dark Souls
Although Bloodborne came from the same hood of FromSoftware as Dark Souls, it is a whole different game altogether. It is often confused as it is similar to Dark Souls. However, it is an independent game IP in a unique setting. The two franchises even have their separate fanbases that often indulge in debates over the superiority of the games.
Bloodborne lacks in this aspect as compared to Dark Souls
Back in 2015 ahead of Bloodborne‘s launch, Miyazaki spilled some interesting facts about the then-upcoming game in an exclusive interview with PlayStation. The creator was asked about the rumors on the internet regarding Bloodborne not having as many weapons as seen in the Souls games.

Adam Sandler is one of the most prolific comedy actors working in Hollywood right now. The actor has his particular brand of comedy, with his gruff voice, loud humor, and the inclusion of Kevin James in many of his films. Though the actor has proved his acting chops in more dramatic roles such as Punch-Drunk Love and Uncut Gems, his comedic roles are still classics.
One of his breakthrough comedies was the sports comedy Happy Gilmore. The film follows the story of an ice hockey player who competes in a local golf tournament. The film was a huge commercial hit, putting Sandler on the map as a bonafide comedy star. His co-star Christopher McDonald mentioned that Sandler had shown him a copy of a sequel for the film.

In the wake of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, numerous theories came out pointing toward the various other ways in which the Avengers could have won. While there were multiple ways where lesser sacrifices could have been made, and characters could have been saved, one question keeps on popping up: Why did the Avengers not destroy the Infinity Stones?
Thanos with the Infinity Stones, in Avengers: Infinity War
The Infinity Stones were the key to Thanos’ plans. However, every single one of the gems needed to be acquired by Thanos, so that he could accurately commit genocide which was random and not targeted. All the Avengers needed to do was destroy just one of the gems, or all of them, to prevent Thanos from coming.

The Bloody Disgusting-powered Screambox is home to a variety of unique horror content, from originals and exclusives to cult classics and documentaries. With such a rapidly-growing library, there are many hidden gems waiting to be discovered.
Here are five recommendations you can stream on Screambox right now.
Horror in the High Desert
One of the most fruitful uses of found footage in recent memory, Horror in the High Desert is a pseudo-documentary chronicling the bizarre events that stem from the 2017 disappearance of a hiker in the Nevada wilderness.
Writer-director Dutch Marich achieves verisimilitude with smart direction and authentic performances. In classic true crime doc fashion, information is strategically unveiled to maximize impact. The methodical pacing pays off with an incredibly unnerving final 15 minutes of found footage. You’ll immediately want to follow it up with the equally effective sequel, Horror in the High Desert 2: Minerva, also on Screambox.

It’s been 10 years since Steven Universe unlocked his Gem ability to summon a shield as he savored the last of his beloved, now-discontinued frozen treat Cookie Cat.
What Rebecca Sugar initially introduced as a brightly colored animated series about a 13-year-old half-Gem, half-human boy raised by his three extraterrestrial guardians, soon became so much more. In its five-season run on Cartoon Network, “Steven Universe” navigated such themes as same-sex relationships, genocide, consent, grief and Ptsd — a groundbreaking feat for a series with a target demographic of six to 11-year-old boys.
“Everything was very difficult. At the time, that we were exploring Lgbtqia+ characters and storylines — it was really not something that was possible,” Sugar says. “I really do feel that we got to explore everything we’d hoped to, just maybe not in the exact order originally intended.”

When you’re 13 everything carries high stakes: friendships, romances, who you’re seen with, which parties you’re invited to. Nothing has an adequate frame of reference, because everything is so new, and you’re not sure if you’re supposed to handle it all like the kid you just were or the adult you want to be. The new Netflix coming-of-age comedy You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah manages to convey this liminal state in a way that’s both deeply thoughtful and light as a feather.

Paramount/Skydance’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, Part One claimed top spot in the North American charts with a franchise-best estimated $80m five-day launch despite falling short of expectations.
The spy thriller, which dominated the global chart on an estimated $235m global bow, had been forecast to open in North American on around $90m. Nonetheless it is a strong start as Tom Cruise returns to action following last summer’s box office sensation Top Gun: Maverick.

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe may recall that Gamora (Zoe Saldaña), the green-skinned alien warrior, was sacrificed by her father Thanos (Josh Brolin) partway through the 2018 film "Avengers: Infinity War." Gamora was thrown off of a mystical cliff so that Thanos could obtain one of the six magical Infinity Stones. Thanos wasn't keen to murder his own daughter, he just wanted the Infinity Stone more than her continued survival. News of Gamora's death reached her would-be lover Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) at the most inopportune time; Peter could have stopped Thanos but was too sad and angry about Gamora to help other superheroes wrest the Gems from him.
Thanks to some time travel rigmarole in the 2019 sequel "Avengers: Endgame," Gamora was resurrected. Well, sort of. Gamora was plucked from a moment in the past, when she was still alive, and deposited in the present. She could continue to live...

Academy Award winner Russell Crowe plays real-life exorcist Father Gabriele Amorth in The Pope’s Exorcist, the brand new horror movie from director Julius Avery (Overlord). The Screen Gems horror movie has thus far scared up $52 million worldwide, and Bloody Disgusting can exclusively report that a sequel to The Pope’s Exorcist is now in early development.
Bloody Disgusting’s sources indicate that development is underway on The Pope’s Exorcist 2, but we don’t have any further details at this time. We do expect Crowe to return.
Stay tuned for more as we learn it.
The smart thing about The Pope’s Exorcist is that the production budget was quite low, reportedly just $18 million. This set the horror movie up for success, allowing it to become profitable in theaters after just one week of release. The same can’t be said about Universal’s Renfield, which reportedly cost $65 million and has thus far made just $17.9 million.
