5 DARK SOULS is an indie film made when amateur filmmakers would pick up their video cameras and head into the woods for some point-and-shoot fun. THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT this isn't; rather, think of it as the antithesis of that film. This tale, supposedly based on a true story, involves some high school bullies leading their victims into the woods, where they plan to shoot their own snuff movie. The blurb links this to Columbine but it has nothing to do with that terrible event. This is absurdly awful, bogged down with constant shaking camerawork (there are no tripods here, folks), laughable acting, and a generally pitiful effort all round.

Classic horror flick!

It took me awhile to find this movie, but when I did I didn't regret it. Let's start off by saying that Jason Paul Collum made a truly original horror flick. And while it's not shot well. It still manages to deliver. And for a 2 hour horror flick to do that and not bore me to death was an accomplishment. The film actually kept me on the edge of my seat and I really didn't guess what would happen next. Just have a great time with it.
