The second short film I've seen that was done using a copy machine!

There is no plot to "Choreography for Copy Machine". Instead, you hear some very hypnotic music playing while images flash on the screen in time to the music and done in a very creative fashion. As for the images, they're all photocopies made (mostly) of people. But, they are arranged in such a way that it's very artistic, very flashy and rather mesmerizing. I know it's not going to be everyone's thing, but I thought it fascinating and exciting.

This is the second short I've seen done with a copy machine--the other being "Copy Shop" which was made a decade later. Both filmmakers obviously had a lot of extra time on their hands! And, both are must-sees for short film lovers.

Photocopy Cha Cha is surreal and a little bit...erotic

Chel White takes images, all from black-and-white photocopied pictures, and mixes them in a dissolving dream-like state to a somewhat familiar whistling electronic instrumental that blows your mind. Various men and women in stages of undress keep you in a sexy state of mind that you won't forget. I most certainly do not recommend this for children until they at least turn 18! This was a unique entry in The 23rd International Tournee of Animation available in a Volume 5 videocassette from 1992. Definitely seek this out if you're looking for something unusual. Dedicated in loving memory of Duke Ellington and Perez Prado.

a kick

Slices of Expressionism, free game of imagination, some eroticism and the smart circle of electronic music and photocopied images in a work reminding hypnotisers. Easy to define it provocative but, in essence, it is just a kick to assume your freedom , to discover near reality out of old formulas and to be in pure exploration.

So, a great kick.
