In one scene there's a sign stating that the train is crossing the border from Germany to Slovakia. Problem is, the German on the sign is not correct. It says "Achtung, Sie übergehen die Grenze Slowakei", which literally translates to "Caution, you are crossing the border Slovakia". Instead it should read "Achtung, Sie überqueren die Grenze zur Slowakei". Furthermore, the word "übergehen" is indeed a German word, but would not be used in this context.
Referring to the road sign which says in the film "crossing the Slovakian border" the main problem is, that Germany and Slovakia does not have a common border.
At the beginning of the movie, a view of a town is presented as "Vienna - Austria", but actually it is a panorama of Florence, Italy.
General Zakev is talking to Jacques on the phone while being in Bonn, Germany. Minutes later he can be seen as being in the Railways Control Center which is in Linz, Austria (established earlier in the film). There is no way the General could have been there in a few minutes as the distance between Bonn and Linz is approximately 700 km.
