Anyone who doesn't know about Zach G(w/ the long last name) will soon hear his name (Hopefully) in the near future. I really enjoyed his performance and if your able to catch it on Comedy Central Presents than I recommend you watch it. He had me splitting at the sides!!!

Pure Genius...

Galifianakis finally gives credibility to Comedy Central's "Comedy Central Presents" series. His dry and calculated sense of humor coupled with a mult-media performance warrant this 10 rating. Brian Regan and Pablo Fransisco are the only others that can even hold a candle to this performance. Sadly Galifianakis hasn't yet been "grasped" by the Hollywood crowd, but it's only a matter of time. Bottom line about this showcase...men with beards are funny.

Amazing comic timing and a great sense of humor, Zach Galifianakis is someone that should not be missed by comedy fans. His dry humor combined with his musical talent gives a fresh look at stand up. It's disappointing that Zach Galifianakis has not being used in more of the comedy world, however it is only a matter of time before he is discovered.

Watch if you enjoy laughing!

This special is definitely one of the funniest I have ever seen on Comedy Central Presents, and I have seen a lot (I have 3 tapes full, and still going strong!). The way he is able to play the piano and tell side-splitting jokes is exceptional, and his ending was fabulous. To me, a good comedian should have something great and big (a great joke, at least) to go out on, so the last thing we remember them by is a really funny joke, and Zach Galifianakis doesn't disappoint. If you enjoy funny things and laughing your ass off, I would suggest this special.

Zach time

Zach Galifianakis only came to my attention as the brattish, uncouth personality in the Hangover films and variation of that character in other comedies. He is in some ways seen by film studios as the new John Candy or worse still the male version of Melissa McCarthy.

This Comedy Central special from 2001 features the stand up version of a younger Zach, also a sitting with the piano version of Zach has he goes through his dry sense of humour.

It is very laid back, a nice sense of timing although a lot of it is not laugh out loud funny. The Comedy Central audience though are in hysterics, rather unsure if they are paid by the guffaws!

Its a nice touch to get ex his twelve ex-girlfriends to come on as an a Capella group. What this short special does show that Zach the comedian is a different personality to his recent screen persona and I hope this can eventually be translated on screen as he is heading for the latter part of his 40s and he does not want to keep on playing loud and obnoxious personalities.
