Back in 2007, Gilmore Girls aired its series finale "Bon Voyage," and while it's always hard to say goodbye to a show you've grown to love, fans of the series found it difficult for an entirely different reason: they simply didn't like it. After seven seasons and 153 episodes of humor, hardships, and coffee — lots and lots of coffee — fans were expecting a fond and fitting farewell to Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel) but were ultimately disappointed. But while it may not have been the finale — or season — fans wanted, the Og Gilmore Girls finale doesn't deserve the bad rep it gets. In fact, it actually did a decent job of closing Lorelai and Rory's chapter, and it deserves a second chance.

"They Shoot Gilmores, Don't They?": Rory and Dean's breakup at the dance marathon is a heartbreaking moment that reveals the love triangle between Rory, Dean, and Jess. "Emily Says Hello": Emily's emotional breakdown after her first date without Richard highlights her struggle to move on after their separation. "Bon Voyage": Saying goodbye to the series, as well as Lorelai and Rory's separation, evokes bittersweet emotions and reflects on the missed time with Lorelai's parents.
There are as many sad Gilmore Girls episodes as there are upbeat ones since the series is a family drama. Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) has a tumultuous family background, which is a major source of tension and sadness throughout the series. With Rory (Alexis Bledel) being a beloved member of the Gilmore family, she became torn between two worlds: her grandparents’ and her mother’s. But it wasn’t all family matters that gave this show sad episodes.

It’s been 25 years since Choclair told us he likes “chillin’, ‘Monday Night Raw’ watching” on Rascalz’ legendary hit “Northern Touch”. And while a lot’s changed — smartphones, global warming, an impending AI apocalypse — some things remain exactly the same.
For one, the Toronto rapper is still a devout wrestling fan. We spend the first 10 minutes of our interview shooting the breeze about the latest WWE storylines. “I don’t want them to break up the Usos,” he insists. “Don’t break up that Bloodline movement!”

What’s more, Choclair still loves chilling. You can hear it all over “Bon Voyage”, his latest single in collaboration with DJ Alonso Mendez and Teria Morada. On the breezy, Latin-flavoured track, the “Let’s Ride” rapper stirs up a lyrical Mai Tai, spitting about kicking back anywhere from Whistler to Cancun.

Milt Larsen, who wrote for the game show Truth or Consequences for nearly two decades and co-founded The Magic Castle in Hollywood, died Sunday of natural causes in Los Angeles, his family announced. He was 92.
Larsen produced TV specials for ABC, CBS and NBC and wrote songs with Richard Sherman, the Oscar winner who partnered with his late brother, Robert, to create tunes for such Disney classics as Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Jungle Book.
He also was the creator and consultant for the $50 million Caesars Magic Empire at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Gilmore Girls has many iconic episodes and moments, though it's also made some missteps, which is evident with the series' worst-rated episode. Gilmore Girls has a high degree of rewatchability due to its likable characters, witty and fast-paced dialogue, and warm and cozy tone. Many episodes, such as the Gilmore Girls season 4 finale, "Raincoats and Recipes," have stood out as fan favorites. However, the show isn't perfect, and some episodes definitely miss the mark.
Looking at the IMDb ratings for Gilmore Girls, most episodes score around a seven or eight out of 10. A select few episodes have received nines, including "Raincoats and Recipes," which currently has a 9.3, the highest episode rating of the series. Most Gilmore Girls episodes seem to be pretty well-received, and the Gilmore Girls series finale, "Bon Voyage," also has a high rating (9.1/10) on IMDb. Many of Gilmore Girls' highest-ranking episodes have satisfying emotional moments and great character dynamics.

Warning: The following contains spoilers for Outer Banks season 3.
All the characters in Netflix's Outer Banks are fun to watch. They get into some of the most unbelievable situations - and find even more unbelievable ways out of them. With all the treasure hunting and running for their lives, however, come some great lines. Among the Pogues, a lot of the great lines are courtesy of JJ Maybank. Whether he's dropping a funny one-liner, giving an emotional speech, or simply throwing his friends for a loop, JJ certainly has the kind of lines that stick with the audience.
JJ Maybank’s’ quotes are actually a great way to track what his character goes through in the series. The more sarcastic he is, the more stressed he likely is. The meaner his lines get, the more he’s dug into his survival mode. JJ is often seen as a fun-loving troublemaker,...

Luke Danes (Scott Patterson) learns the life-changing news that he has a child named April (Vanessa Marano) in season 6 of Gilmore Girls, and the custody battle over her is dramatic and memorable. Although the series is about Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory's (Alexis Bledel) Stars Hollow lives, several episodes are devoted to Luke and April's growing father-daughter relationship. Luke and Anna (Sherilyn Fenn) had a brief romance several years before the start of Gilmore Girls and she never told him about April. Luke finds out after April appears at his diner wanting his DNA for a science fair project.
April is a mostly hated Gilmore Girls character, and her sometimes cold personality and need to share her knowledge on many scientific topics is off-putting to some. However, April helps Luke become more sensitive, and they are a good influence on one another. When Anna shares that she wants to move to New Mexico,...

It's unlikely any fan would name Gilmore Girls Season 7 as his or her favorite season.
The disappointment only made expectations for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life higher.
Unfortunately, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life has major flaws of its own.
One of them is ignoring Gilmore Girls Season 7.
There's plenty to complain about with Gilmore Girls Season 7. The dialogue's off. Characters are introduced or reintroduced without adding much to the show. The Lorelai and Chris saga takes up too much narrative real estate, and the list goes on.
On the more positive side, Lorelai and Richard's relationship was warmest during Gilmore Girls Season 7, and Logan received serious character development.
When Loralei freaked out about everything from the seats to whether she had enough programs for the Stars Hollow graduation reenactment on Gilmore Girls Season 7 Episode 21, Richard told her not to worry and enjoy Rory's Yale graduation because...

[Editor’s Note: The following contains spoilers from “The Good Place” Season 2, Episode 4, “Jeremy Bearimy.”]
On Thursday’s episode, “The Good Place” reinvented itself once again and bid farewell to its previous narrative format during a Bon Voyage party for Tahani (Jameela Jamil). When Eleanor (Kristen Bell) and her friends come upon the interdimensional door between Earth and the rest of the immortal universe, the demon Michael (Ted Danson) and his helper Janet (D’Arcy Carden) have to come clean about their experiences in The Bad Place and their rebooted chance at redemption.
Unfortunately, in doing so, they’ve doomed the four humans to being damned because now their actions would be tainted with the knowledge of an afterlife. After each of the mortals spiral out in various ways, Eleanor finally comes to the conclusion that even if she’s fated for The Bad Place, she can at least help others on Earth not meet the same fate.

Disgraced comedy star Bill Cosby faced online backlash on Thursday after paying tribute to the late Aretha Franklin by remembering the Queen of Soul for her work on his “The Cosby Show” spinoff “A Different World.”
“Are you tweeting from jail?” one commenter asked about Cosby’s tweeted remembrance, while another snarked: “Wifi must be good in cellblock c.”
Cosby, who was convicted in April on three counts of aggravated assault, has remained mostly out of the spotlight in recent months — though his tweet about Franklin sparked an outcry.
“Aretha Franklin – I want to thank her for her wonderful voice singing the theme song of ‘A Different World,'” Cosby tweeted. “She made a big, strong positive impact on that series. I am playing a cut from her CD – the title of the song is ‘Wholy Holy’ – and she’s live in a church. Bon Voyage…..”

Gather round children. Do you remember that show you weren't watching about the daughter of Corey (Ben Savage) and Topanga Matthews (Danielle Fishel) from the popular 90's sitcom Boy Meets World? It's called Girl Meets World, and starred Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard). And, yesterday it's cancellation became official. That's right everyone, it's the end of times. As one of the first reunion shows that have become quite popular, they filmed three seasons (over 70 episodes), which isn't too shabby. The series finale airs Friday January 20th at 6 Pm.
Though the show will not return for Season 4, “Girl Meets World” will continue to air around the world. The first three seasons will also continue to be presented on Disney Channel’s digital platforms, the Disney Channel app and Disney Channel VOD. Let us remember the show as most of us knew it, via a trailer placed in front of us that we did not ask for.

The top two items on this week's list aired on NBC, but since one's already been cancelled and the other's being quickly killed off, it's feels wrong to call them "NBC shows." Both have been relatively acclaimed, but when it comes to the programming of what used to be known as TV's "Big Three," prestige alone doesn't sell. Those of us who favor the daring can be bummed about this, and blame the primetime broadcasters for not always backing their best. Or we can be glad these programs existed in the first place.

Bon voyage! Chelsea Clinton and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, spent Saturday, Aug. 15, boating with designer Diane von Furstenberg and her husband, Barry Diller, off the shore of Sardinia, Italy. The new mom, 35, who welcomed daughter Charlotte in September 2014, looked fit in a mix-and-match bikini aboard the sleek vessel. Clinton’s outing without her mini-me comes as a rare moment for the busy first-time mom. "Marc and I are like, 'What did we do before we were parents?'" the former first daughter told Elle magazine in May. "My [...]...

In the last season or so, Graceland has been delving into bigger and consequently more ridiculous storylines. It's at its core a fun summer show, so one can hardly fault it for that. But the show's real strength has always been its characters and their relationships with each other. The drug rings and Mexican cartels have distracted from that lately. "Bon Voyage", however, focuses almost exclusively on characters and relationships, and is one of the better episodes to come from Graceland in a while.

Warning: This recap contains spoilers for Outlander‘s Season 1 finale.
Deep breaths, everyone.
For months now, Outlander‘s Black Jack Randall, a sadistic Redcoat who makes Jeffrey Dahmer look like a mewling kitten in comparison, has had Jamie Fraser in his sights. In the season finale, Randall slakes his desire by taking command of not only the Scot’s body but also his soul.
I was gonna write, “The latter is harder to watch,” but that’s just not true. Both Jamie’s rape and its psychological aftereffects are horrifying, compelling, awful and expertly acted, and they provoke so many reactions/conversations,...

Summer means two things for most Americans: A family trip and a lack of decent TV. However, if you're currently stuck at home, wishing you could find something better to watch, we've got an easy, free solution. You can just ride along with your favorite sitcom of choice! Remember when sitcoms regularly had group vacations, played out over a series of episodes or even over two-hour movie events? Sure, Modern Family still does an "away" adventure about once per season, but there was a time when a vacation episode was a full-fledged TV event. Shows you loved would ditch the...

Hard to believe, but there hasn't been a feature-lenth film based on Charles Schulz's Peanuts since 1980's Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown. This new 3D/CGI film should be quite respectful to the source material as Charles Shulz's son, Craig, is one of the producers. The film was/is directed by Steve Martino, who previously helmed Ice Age: Continental Drift. For the first time ever, Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang we know and love from Charles Schulz's timeless "Peanuts" comic strip will be making their big-screen debut; like they've never been seen before in a CG-Animated Feature film in 3D.

20th Century Fox have released a teaser trailer for what they hope will be one of the biggest hits of next year, Snoopy & Charlie Brown: A Peanuts Movie. Known simply as Peanuts in the Us, the film is being produced by Blue Sky Studios, whose recent hits have included Rio and the four Ice Age movies. Steve Martino, who directed the fourth chapter, Continental Drift, is at the helm.

Last night we saw the first two pictures from the Peanuts movie and while the film won't be hitting theaters until November 6, 2015, tonight we have the first teaser trailer for the film, which I expect will probably play in front of screenings of Muppets Most Wanted this weekend. Still no details on the film's plot, but this will be the first "Peanuts" feature since 1980's Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (and Don't Come Back!!), which I've seen but had entirely forgotten even existed. "We're going to fly with Snoopy in his fantasy world," director Steve Martino (Horton Hears a Who!, Ice Age: Continental Drift) told USA Today. "We have a bigger canvas. Bill Melendez got Snoopy off the ground in the TV specials. We're going to take it a step further." Check out the trailer and the two pictures from last night directly below. sb id="899739" height="343" width="610"...
