After Mohan , Karthik has the boy next door look to suit any role . Village based stories became a rage in the 90s .
Here he plays an orphan brought up by Manorama . Vijaykumar is the head of the village . His grand daughter Soundarya and Karthik are a pair . After a couple of duets , teasings and banter when they wish to get married. the family fights between these two clans comes in their way . Karthik is the simpleton do gooder of the v village .
A wafer thin plot with predictable fights and violence . The parallel comedy track of Goundarmani and SEnthil as usual is crass and loud . Soundarya is a pretty beauty . Karthik is very good looking and matches any role easily .This movie has some nice catchy songs shot in rural back ground .
