Happy's Party Saturday Morning TV Show
Happy's Party was a television show that was seen on Saturday mornings for one hour. The first half hour was only shown locally in the Pittsburgh, PA area. The second half hour was shown throughout the U.S. One of the sponsors was Florida Orange Juice during the second half hour. Happy was a dog puppet.
One of the regular lines in the first half hour was, "Did you brush your teeth this morning?" The kids in the peanut gallery would reply, "Yes". Happy would whisper in Ida Mae's ear and she would respond, "Happy loves you." In the second half hour, Ida Mae would ask, "Did you drink your full big glass of Florida Orange Juice?" The peanut gallery would respond, "Yes." Happy would again whisper in Ida Mae's ear and she would respond, "Well, Happy loves you."
