Former Britain’s Got Talent winner Paul Potts has decided to embark on a 190 mile walk in aid of the people of Haiti.
The opera singer is currently touring Tokyo with his wife Julie but plans to walk from his hometown of Port Talbot to his concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
On his Justgiving homepage Paul wrote:
“If you have come here you will have seen that I have had a moment of craziness and decided that the best method of travel to my fundraising concert for Sos Children’s Village’s appeal for Haiti is by foot.
“It is a 190-mile walk from my front door in Port Talbot to the front doors of the Royal Albert Hall, and I will be walking through the towns and cities of Cardiff, Newport, Chepstow, Chippenham, Hungerford, Reading and Windsor on my way to London.
“I plan to achieve this in seven days.
