Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • For a TV show, it can get very violent and gory.

  • A giant monster swallows a man, but reguritates his lower torso. Blood is seen everywhere (episode 8)
  • A pig is attacked by a creature. Even though it's off screen, we see blood splatter on a stop sign. (episode 5)
  • A horse is attacked by a creature off screen. We later see that it has several bloody holes punched into it. (episode 5)
  • A mans severed foot is found in the desert. It is covered in blood (episode 3)
  • We see the gruesome remains of three men. Thier bodies are completly mangled, and thier bones are visible. (episode 2)
  • A man is shot in the chest with a large harpoon. The harpoon is covered in blood, and the man quivers in pain on the ground. (episode 7)
  • A man runs and hides in a box from a creature. But the creature impales the man through the box, killing him. (episode 5)
  • A bug crawls into a mans ear. His ears begin bleeding large amounts of blood as he screams in pain, and eventually dies. (episode 12)

  • A man gets his arm ripped off by a giant shrimp-like monster. We later see the mans corpse floating in the water without limbs or a head. (episode 11)
  • A man is shot in the head with a pistol. We don't see him getting shot, but we do see his corpse with a bullet hole in his forehead. (episode 13)

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • People sell beer at the local resturant in town.
  • One character casualy drinks beer.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • For a TV series, it can get pretty gory. Some episodes have on-screen dismemberment, especially any episodes involving Shriekers.
  • Episode 12, "The Sound of Silence", can be a very creepy episode. For one thing, it involves killer insects that make high pitched buzzing noises, and crawl into peoples ears to feast on thier brains. Second, this is one of the few episodes where the CGI looks real and convincing. Third, it has a very creepy atmosphere and several strange camera angles, that doesn't feel like a Tremors episode.
  • Several intense, loud shoot-outs occur throughout the show.
  • The scene were a man gets shot in the head in close range (episode 13, The Key) may shock some people, because it isn't normal Tremors behavior. It is the first and only time when a man has been murdered by another man in a Tremors movie/show.
