Exclusive: Dallas Buyers Club executive producer Tony Notargiacomo and Die Hard With A Vengeance executive producer Robert Lawrence have boarded the Canada-us project as producer and executive producer, respectively.
Carl Bessai (pictured), whose credits include Emile and Normal, will direct from a screenplay by Shannon Beaty.
Gearshift principals Borga Dorter and Jordan Barker will produce alongside Notargiacomo and Beaty.
All The Rage is based on Margaret Atwood’s critically acclaimed short story Hairball and follows a driven career woman in her 30s.
When she is lured from a cutting edge magazine in Berlin to a conservative, male-run publishing company in Toronto that stifles her ambitions, the woman plots revenge.
Production is earmarked for spring in Canada.

Foy first told us about Jeffery Lando's House of Bones, in which the lovely Charisma Carpenter plays a ghost hunter, back in December of 2008, and finally this weekend it debuts on Syfy. In addition, the indie filmmaker who hails from Vancouver has two other Canadian premieres happening within the next few days.
But first here's what Lando has to say about House of Bones:
"[It's] a fun horror film where the cast and crew of a Ghost Hunter reality show get trapped in a house that really Is haunted. This is the movie I directed in Louisiana a year ago with a gang of wildmen genre filmmakers from La. It begins airing this Saturday (the 16th) at 9 Pm (8 Central)." Indie distributor Castle Hill Prods. has acquired the U.S. theatrical rights to Emile, a film by Carl Bessai and starring Ian McKellen and Deborah Kara Unger. Emile is described as an exploration of an older man's struggle to reconnect with his past. Bessai served as writer, director, producer and cinematographer. The deal was negotiated by Castle Hill Prods. president of marketing and distribution Mel Maron and Monarch Home Video's Dan Norem.

The Canadian film Seven Times Lucky was honored at the sixth annual Method Fest Independent Film Festival Awards, with director Gary Yates' film earning best feature and best screenplay awards. Beautiful Kid was recognized with a best actor award for Dan Brennan, and best actress honors went to Deborah Kara Unger for Emile. Wiktor Grodecki was named best feature director for Insatiability. Special awards also were presented to Chazz Palminteri, Dennis Hopper and Martha Coolidge at Friday's awards dinner at the Castaway Restaurant in Burbank.
