- After getting out of bed with a woman a naked man hurriedly puts on his underwear. As he bends over to do so, most of his butt is visible.
- A man and woman are seen dancing together in their underwear. The woman's tank top is somewhat see through. When she changes out of the tank top to put her other shirt on, one side of a breast is momentarily visible.
- Some kissing and implied sex, no nudity.
- A man talks about how he stole a woman's panties
- Joel is seen in bed during a humiliating memory with his hand under the cover of the sheets. He is holding a page with drawings of women's breasts. Nothing is seen, but it is implying that he was masturbating.
- A man and woman lay under a cover nude, however only their upper chests and faces are visible.

- We see a memory flashback of other young kids pressuring Joel to hammer an apparently dead or injured pigeon in a wagon (it's not moving). He hits it several times and one of the kids then bends his arm backwards.

- A woman drinks while at dinner, and her boyfriend thinks that she will be drunk.
- A man tricks another man into doing drugs while he is trying to stay clean. He vomits immediately after.
- Two people smoke a joint at the edge of a bed, and later mention several times that they are high.
- Joel asks Clementine if she wants a drink and then hands her a glass of whiskey.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The movie has some very loopy and confusing scenes, these may stress some viewers out.
- This film is extremely emotional and may move viewers to cry.
- A few intense arguments with yelling.
- There is a very emotional, heart-wrenching scene of a child crying in a crashed automobile. It is extremely realistic.

- Dr. Mierzwiak's wife whacks at Stan for him trying to cover Dr. Mierzwiak's indiscretions.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- In a few of the surreal dream sequences we see some people with disfigured faces that can frighten some. But nothing serious and simply because of indicating the scene's surreal nature.
