Warning: Spoilers
A remarkable, memorable and extremely well-done documentary concerning the lives of the ultra-orthodox Jewish people living in eastern Europe. We are reminded that they settled there after being expelled from England, France and the German city-states.

Looked upon with disdain due to religious antagonisms, culture, language and other factors, we see how education for the male child was stressed and the young girls were prepared for a life of home in assuming their religious responsibilities.

We saw that even with the rise of anti-Semitism and eventual Nazism, how these people still adhered to their faith.
