Jerry Frank, a veteran TV producer whose work ranged from Joey Bishop's 1960s talk show to the syndicated Sha Na Na, has died. He was 76. Frank died Tuesday of lung cancer at the Motion Picture & Television Fund Hospital in Woodland Hills. He was known for producing a wide variety of live events and television specials, including Muhammad Ali bouts for Don King Prods. and the 1978 NBC special A Tribute to Mr. Television ... Milton Berle. Other series that Frank produced during his 35-year career include Johnny Mann's Stand Up and Cheer and the 1980s horror anthology Tales From the Darkside.
