"House Hunting" is an American short film from almost 15 years ago starring (a blonde) Zooey Deschanel and Paul Rudd as the main characters. And if that is not yet enough star potential, Felicity Huffman is also on board. Looks like a pretty prestigious project to me, even if I must say I don't know writer and director Amy Lippman. Admittedly, this may be not a great loss as this film here was neither particularly impressive in terms of acting nor in terms of the action. Maybe you need to have been house hunting yourself at some point in your life in order to appreciate it, but I never was and I am not a great Deschanel fan either (I don't mind Rudd), so yeah maybe you need to really like her in order to like this film. In my opinion, even at only 20 minutes, it never seems essential or focused (and the characters I did not care for either) and that's why I give it a thumbs down. Not recommended.
