Black Noise is the latest film to follow in the footsteps of Predator and takes a group of highly trained professional soldiers and sends them to a remote location on what should be a simple mission only for it to turn into a battle with something beyond their comprehension. Earlier this year Island Escape added a few twists to make it feel fresh, can Black Noise pull off the same feat?
A large man, uniformed and armed, flees through a Carribean rainforest. Whatever he’s running from must be dangerous, his uniform is torn and he’s battered, bloody, and panicked to the point of shooting at moving foliage. Reaching a house he sees a quad parked in the yard, just what he needs to escape. But...

The Island wastes no time in establishing just how evil its villain, Manuel is. As he’s talking to Nora, a singer auditioning at one of his properties, the waiter spills her drink on her. His response isn’t to fire the man but to stab him in the neck and tell the shocked woman, “Go get cleaned up, you work for me now.”
In Los Angeles Mark and his partner Phil are working undercover setting up a drug bust. This being an action film it naturally goes bad, but that’s not the worst thing Mark is going to have to deal with today. He gets a call telling him his brother has been murdered on the island where they grew up.

Jean Claude Van Damme is widely known for his brilliant kicking ability and martial arts background. As a young kid, Van Damme would train in the martial arts Shotokan karate and Kickboxing, during this time he also studied Ballet, which would be used more for his flexibility and strength in his legs.
He has a great kickboxing record on 19 fight, 18 wins, one loss, which he won at a later date in the rematch. But when it comes to his movies, he has a great influence within Asian Cinema, using many directors and choreographers in his movies. In his early movie career he starred in movies such as Bloodsport and Kickboxer, showing the arts of Ninjutsu and Muay Thai. As his career went on, in 1994 he teamed up with veteran director John Woo for the movie Hard Target. Here John Woo would show his violent side in this all out guns...

Quietly released in 2009, suspense thriller The Steam Experiment may be Val Kilmer's strangest film yet. Ryan takes a closer look...
In a career spanning nearly 40 years, Val Kilmer's played Jim Morrison, Doc Holliday, Simon Templar and Batman. He was Iceman in Top Gun. He was Moses in The Prince Of Egypt, Elvis in True Romance, and the voice of Kitt in the 2008 Knightrider TV movie.
Val Kilmer's well known for these roles and many, many more - but one that somehow flew under our radar until now was that of mad global warming doomsday theorist James Pettis in the 2009 film, The Steam Experiment.

Gary Coleman's Ex -- All Smiles in the Wake of Death
Just hours after Shannon Price decided to pull the plug and end Gary Coleman's life -- the actor's ex-wife was already smiling and posing for photos.
TMZ has learned the photos seen here were taken on May 29 -- just one day after Gary died. The woman smiling with Shannon is Sheila Erickson -- an agent who worked with both Shannon and Gary.
The photos were taken around the same time she sat down with a camera crew and did an interview about Gary's death.
We're told Shannon wanted to do the interview "to get her side of the story out" -- amongst speculation that she may have killed Gary.

This review needs an introduction as it’s necessary to make clear my perspective on Jean-Claude Van Damme. In short – I have never seen a bad Van Damme movie. Ok, that’s a bit of a lie, I’ve seen loads of bad Van Damme movies, but I’ve never seen one I didn’t enjoy. Even his newer films are enjoyable – unlike Seagal’s, who I don’t even bother with anymore, as his latest films are so far removed from the pure glory of his 80s and 90s output that it’s just too darn depressing to think about. But Van Damme is consistent – at least in my eyes. Sure, “The Hard Corps” wasn’t as good as “Kickboxer”, and “Wake of Death” was nothing compared to “Bloodsport” – but I still chuffing-well enjoyed them. So I already knew that I would like “Universal Soldier: Regeneration” before I’d even seen it.

Jcvd (2008) Direction: Mabrouk El Mechri Screenplay: Mabrouk El Mechri and Frédéric Benudis; from an idea by Frédéric Taddeï and Vincent Ravalec Cast: Jean-Claude Van Damme, François Damiens, Liliane Becker Jean-Claude Van Damme in Jcvd Mabrouk El Mechri’s Jcvd is one of the best films Jean-Claude Van Damme has starred in for some years, equal to his more recent efforts in Wake of Death and Replicant. Van Damme really puts on his acting cap in all three films, though out of the three, Replicant is still the best, followed by Jcvd and then Wake of Death. Jcvd, however, is the most inventive of the trio; it is also the first film where Van Damme gets real with his audience. Jcvd [...]...
