A Film made by an adult that captures the mind of a 4 year old
alonr26 August 2005
I have just finished watching the film. although the version I got was 26 minutes (not 50 as mentioned in this site). I found the film to be a journey for me as well as for Disa, the 4 year old kid who had to move from Norway to Japan.

the director, Benedicte Maria Orvung has captured beautifully the way a 4 year old thinks, although it is amazing to see how the thought could be easily belong to a 40 year old woman (or man) who has moved to a new place with a different language and way of life.

the movie is both funny, sad and moving and we all want the best for Disa. the best part is that the movie does not judge Disa or her mother.

All the information about that dramatic move is given to us by disa and we really don't know why the mother has decided to move (work apparently) where is the father? and why don't they have a television in the new house.

I believe this is a good film for parents to watch with their kids just before they start school or kinder-garden, and especially if you are planning to move....
