In advance of the upfront market, the cable channel announced plans to produce 800 hours of original programming, including two new series for its potent daytime lineup. In primetime, seven new series will join the schedule as early as this month, including Recipe for Success, which focuses on individuals who pursued plans for culinary careers, Inside Dish With Rachael Ray, which invades the kitchens of celebrities, and Party Starters, a primer for entertaining in the home. "The newest additions to our primetime schedule really step up our commitment to food as the ultimate lifestyle category," Food Network president Judy Girard said.
