This is a remake of Sidney Sheldon's novel The other side of midnight. Yogita with her huge dole ful eyes is the innocent destitute girl . Her uncle and her boss try to take advantage of her poverty . She flees to Mumbai and meets rich pilot AnilDhawan by chance. He is all kindness and very soon they fall in love. He invites her to his house and a couple of duets later, they are about to get married. After getting very intimate with her , he goes out on the day of his wedding and never returns back. After waiting for a long time , she realises that he has cheated her . Broken to the core ,she gets an abortion and starts modelling . She meets rich Rajendra Prasad who is a multi millionaire. She starts living with him as his mistress and is privy to his vaste estate , horses and planes. With the new found money, she starts keeping tabs on Anil. He ,meanwhile has married a nice homely girl Nazneen . She keeps closing all doors on Anil who is mystified as to why he keeps losing jobs one by one . Finally he starts working for Rajendra Kumar . He reconnects to Yogita who keeps enticing him. Finally he is so smitten back by her that he gets ready to kill his wife . He pushes Nazneen from atop a hill . At this point Yogita changes tactics and gets him arrested. In the end, Nazneen is not dead and comes back . Yogita conveniently dies. Anil , now repentful , rejoins his wife Nazneen. Anil looks daper and smart as a pilot and a carefree play boy . Its impossible to dislike him even in his negative shades . Yogita reminds us of Rekha in many scenes . Over all a nice movie .
