A pretty two-reel story of Colonial days, with Erma Earl and Fred Sumner in the leading roles. In the prologue is pictured the death of the young lieutenant on the field of battle and the reception of his message and flower by the girl. Generations later the story is taken up with the same couple appearing as lovers. He inherits his uncle's estate and investigates the haunted room, in which he learns of the tragedy of former years. The second story is brought to a happy ending. This is pleasingly pictured. - The Moving Picture World, January 16, 1915
