Suits is back, and the episode “Blind-Sided” seemed to have one goal: Make everyone miserable, so when the firm really starts to come under attack from the outside (which it does next week), they’re already frayed and short-fused. Craig Doyle is getting fraternal.
The film and television scribe has sold two sibling-themed television projects, including one that is being developed by 20th Century Fox TV and the studio-based Chernin Entertainment.
The 20th TV/Chernin project, set up at Fox, is a comedy about an adult man who's made a mess of his life but must come to the aid of his Type A sister after she suffers a tragedy.
Doyle also has sold the multicamera sibling comedy "Three Sisters" to CBS. Produced by CBS Television Studios and Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg's Katalyst Films, it focuses on three very different men who marry three sisters who are extremely close.
Doyle, repped by CAA and Madhouse Entertainment, did work on "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" at New Line and "Closed for the Holidays" at Paramount.

Benjamin King has joined the cast of The Wedding Planners, David E. Kelley's new series for Fox.
Meanwhile, Australian actress Rachael Carpani is set to co-star opposite Janeane Garofalo in Barry Schindel's untitled drama pilot for CBS.
Wedding Planners, from David E. Kelley Prods. and 20th Century Fox TV, revolves around three sisters -- Jane (Teri Polo), Sammy (Sarah Jones) and Annie (KaDee Strickland) -- who run a family wedding-planning business (HR 12/18).
King will play the wedding company's chief corporate officer, the businessman of the group who is happily married to Jane.
Kelley and Jonathan Pontell are executive producing Wedding, which is slated to premiere in the spring. Jon Amiel is directing and executive producing the first episode of the series.
King, whose credits include NBC's original movie Saving Jessica Lynch and the pilots Stroller Wars for CBS and Weekends for NBC, is repped by Innovative Artists and manager Scott Howard.
The untitled Barry Schindel project, from CBS Paramount Network TV and studio-based Scott Free Prods., follows the lives, relationships, cases and careers of a team of public defenders.

Michael Rispoli is in negotiations to star in ABC's comedy pilot The Furst Family, Michael Landes has landed the new male lead in NBC's untitled Tarses/Wrubel comedy pilot, Eddie Kaye Thomas has been tapped as the male lead in NBC's comedy pilot Weekends, and Richard Kind has joined the cast of CBS' untitled Aisha Tyler comedy pilot. In other pilot casting news, Kerr Smith leads the cast of UPN's drama Silver Lake, with Hedy Burress, Sandra Bernhard, Stephanie Faracy and William Russ also cast in the project. Martin Donovan, Alexander Gould, Matt Czuchry and Jessica Chastain have been cast in the WB Network's drama Dark Shadows, Daniel Dae Kim has come on board ABC's drama Lost, and Lombardo Boyar and Jim Parsons have joined CBS' comedy Taste. Fox Broadcasting Co. has given a 13-episode series order to drama The North Shore, from 20th Century Fox TV. On the pilot casting front, Joe Pantoliano is said to be in final negotiations to join the cast of the CBS/Warner Bros. TV drama pilot Dr. Vegas. In other pilot casting news, Suzanne Cryer and Maitland Ward have joined NBC's comedy The Men's Room, Max Martini and Megan Dodds have come on board ABC's drama Gramercy Park, Rachel Harris has been tapped to co-star in NBC's comedy Weekends, Chester Gregory II and Davenia McFadden have joined NBC's comedy D.O.T.S., and David Newsom has nabbed a role on the WB Network's drama Prodigy. Meanwhile, Shaun Cassidy has come on board the WB Network's drama pilot The Mountain as executive producer/showrunner. North Shore, which is a working title, is described as an Upstairs, Downstairs-esque look at the guests staying at a luxury hotel in Hawaii and the hotel staffers who serve them. Chris Brancato and Bert Salke have signed to executive produce the series alongside Kevin Falls and Peter Elkoff.
