Sex & Nudity

  • None. Livy is pregnant out of wedlock but the father and the incident are not shown, even in flashback. The movie begins after this with Livy on a train being sent away by her widower father. Months later as she makes a phonecall, her water breaks. She is then shown after the birth, sitting on a couch, holding her swaddled child and bonding with her husband.
  • Livy and Ray live together after their marriage but the plot of the movie is their growth in romantic affection for each other though married as strangers. They are shown as keeping separate bedrooms until possibly late in the movie but this detail is never fleshed out completely. Hallmark likes to think of romantic love as asexual. Sex is never shown or implied.
  • As she reclines in a boat while he fishes across from her, Ray glances at Livy's stockinged lower legs and body as her eyes are closed. Sexy, for Hallmark.

Violence & Gore

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Mild. A prisoner of war is transported by a woman in the back of a truck, he is unarmed but there is some tension whether he may harm her while trying to escape.
  • A man relates that his brother died at Pearl Harbor and a woman describes being evicted from her family home but neither account is in detail and neither is shown
  • An inexperienced man is trying to operate a large machine and is thrown around in the cab, it is more comical then frightening and the characters are laughing but this may scare young viewers.
